Here is a list of where volunteers are still needed: Wood: Moving wood in the
park to the camps: British, American, NA, modern Straw: Moving straw in the park
to the camps: British, American, NA Water: Making sure
water is available for reenactors and volunteers Spectator Parking &
Shuttle:
Need someone to coordinate this. Signs posted; canopies up Buses: Need someone to
coordinate this. Where will they park? Information booth : People
needed to work here and at other booths throughout the event. Membership booth: Need folks to work here
throughout the event Tent movers, etc: nee
folks to help set up tents for the weekend starting Thursday and
also
to help move tents to & set up at the farm on Saturday night Garbage duty: Help needed to pick up
garbage throughout the weekend Cleanup crew: to clean up the park
Sunday night and Monday Bathrooms: Need
volunteers to help clean bathrooms at Newtown during the event. Education Day: Friday, August 27, 2004.
We need volunteers. Education Day: Friday, August 27, 2004. We need to have a sign-up for volunteers. Need someone to coordinate this with Michael Grenier. Michael Grenier and Mitch Lee are coordinators of the military presentation and activities of this event. Pam Newton is the chairperson overseeing the coordination of the balance of this event which is being hosted by the Chemung Valley Living History Center. Other organizations are welcome to become involved with this undertaking and are urged to contact Pam Newton at newtons@infoblvd.net or call the CVLH general information number at 607-733-0950.
